There has been wars in the past since Israel became a nation May, 1948. In this Psalm 83 passage it has yet to find it full fulfillment when Israel will no more has to contend with the Islamic nations as we see their enemies mobilizing troops and accumulating weapons for the fourth (?) confederate attack in an attempt to annihilate Israel. These ancient names listed in verses 6-8, in modern day they are: Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Gaza Strip and everyone else in between. Palestinians are residue of the descendants of Edom, or Esau. Esau was the brother of Jacob. Jacob became Israel. Israel meaning a prince with God..."as a prince hast thou power with God and with men..." From the meaning of the name --Israel will prevail this forth coming war against the Islamic nations.
The conflict in the Middle East has it origin back to our patriarchal father, Abraham. I won't go into details but will link a video that explains this better then I can describe it. The video has a different view on how I came to understand the Psalm 83 passage. He thinks that Psalm 83 has already accomplished and the next stage set forth is what we call, Armageddon. My view is God will have to silence the uproar of the Islamic nations and bring them to submission under his people Israel before Armageddon takes place. This coming battle is actually against God and not against Israel. Israel is also call, "Army of the living God." So when people defy Israel, they also defy the living God who had chosen Israel as his own people.
This war must come to pass. So forget about land for peace with Palestinians. God has said that he will judge Esau severely for his historical hatred against his own brother Jacob. Nations should take to heart how they have been dealing with Jews. God brings calamity upon nations for the sole sake of Israel. "...for the LORD has a controversy with the nations..." So don't think that trouble won't come to your nation. Many nations in the world has suffered one way or another because of Israel. How? By how they treat Jews that are in their nation. To find favor with God, start blessing Israel and being her friends. God has established Israel to be an ensign to the nations. It was his will to make them the head of nations, but they had been made the tail because of unbelief and disobedience to his Torah. (law) Yet, God is in the making of raising them up to the heights that he had intended for them, being the head of nations to show the glory of God . God wants to be sanctify in their midst. Its about God and his holy name which they had profane wherever they went.
The Judgment Of Edom And The Arab Nations will:
1. Concludes the present Arab – Israeli conflict
2. Ends the ancient Arab hatred of the Jews
3. Gives Israel sovereignty over modern day Jordan
4. Eliminates the Palestinian Refugee crisis
5. Elevates the Israeli Defense Forces into “an exceedingly great army”
6. Proves God’s Genesis 12:3 Gentile foreign policy is still effectually in tact

The Palestinian will NEVER be content to have Israelis living by their side and it also a violation of the word of God for Israel to divide the land with Esau. I hate to know what God will do to America as Mr. Obama is planning to force Israel into peace agreement whether they want it or not.

But the scripture tells the opposite of the accusers plan to formalize world consensus to rid Israel from being a nation so the world could have peace? No, they will get curse. They are about to bring God's judgment on their own heads.
